Forest Service

  • Upper Brushy Project, Bankhead National Forest
    The Upper Brushy project will reforest beetle killed areas and enhance wildlife habitat on approximately 18,000 acres.
  • Oakmulgee Biomass Production Project, Talladega National Forest
    The Oakmulgee Biomass Production Project will this to increase forest health while encouraging biomass production on approximately 37 acres.
  • Upper Bushy Stewardship Project, Bankhead National Forest
    This project aims to restore beetle killed areas and promote wildlife habitat enhancement on approximately 18,000 acres.
  • Longleaf Ecosystem Restoration Project, National Forests in Alabama
    The Longleaf Restoration Project aims to restore native longleaf pine communities within the project area and improve habitat availability for the red-cockaded woodpecker. Six contracts have been awarded in this project area between FY 2002 and FY 2004.
