  • High Elevation Early Successional Habitat, Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest
    The High Elevation Early Successional Habitat Project will create habitat for species dependent on high elevation and early successional forest. This project will treat approximately 6,420 acres.
  • Compartment 113 Red Cockaded Woodpecker Habitat Improvement, Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest
    The Red Cockaded Woodpecker Habitat project seeks to improve habitat for the red cockaded woodpecker and Bachman’s sparrow, while improving watershed health, hunting facilities, and various wildlife-viewing opportunities. The number of acres proposed for treatment is approximately 2,240.
