Kentucky - Stewardship Contracting Projects

Forest Service

  • Cold Hill Project, Daniel Boone National Forest
    The Cold Hill Project's objective is to restore the health of oak dominated uplands. This project will treat approximately 610 acres.
  • Fugate Branch Stewardship Project, Daniel Boone National Forest
    The Fugate Branch project seeks to maintain/improve biodiversity, provide habitat requirements for Management Indicator Species, improve the existing transportation system and encourage the development of markets for small-diameter, low-grade forest products. A contract was awarded in FY 2004.
