Cohesive Strategy Sub-Committee (CSSC)
The CSSC was appointed by the Wildland Fire Executive Council (WFEC) to advise WFEC on Cohesive Strategy implementation. Membership of the CSSC mirrors that of the WFEC and WFLC. Many individuals participating in the CSSC have been involved with the cohesive strategy effort since the beginning of Phase I, enabling the CSSC to provide consistent guidance on the Cohesive Strategy process.

National Science Team
The National Science Team reports to the CSSC, and is a cadre of technical experts that performs data collection, synthesis, analysis and modeling in support of the Cohesive Strategy. The National Science Team will translate the qualitative information gathered in the Phase II regional assessments into quantitative modeling that can be used for the Phase III National Risk Trade-off Analysis. To accomplish its work, the National Science Team will work closely with the Regional Strategy Committees, Working Groups, and the CSSC.
